Tomorrow we head for Rome in an effort to secure the schedule for "I have come to you again," the exhibit

Rev. Malcolm Neyland, M.C.L., J.C.L.
Executive Director and President

Ordained a Catholic Priest for 38 years and Pastor of numerous Parishes for 34 years, Rev. Malcolm Neyland also serves as Associate Chaplain in the Pastoral Care Department for the University Medical Center. He holds academic degrees in Behavioral Science, Philosophy, Theology, a Masters of Divinity, and both Baccalaureate and Master’s Degrees in Canon Law. Rev. Neyland serves on the Board of the International Cultural Center, Texas Tech University, is a Life Time Patron of the Arts for the Vatican Exhibit Museums, and a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.

He has also served as the Judicial Vicar of the Diocese of Lubbock for fourteen years and as a member of the College of Consulters, the Personnel Board and as the Vocations Director for the Diocese of Lubbock.   Rev. Neyland has traveled world-wide to some 72 countries on expeditions for scientific studies, interest in archaeology, paleontology and photo geology.

Nyla Ptomey, Ph.D.
Administrator/Finance Director

Dr. Nyla Ptomey has 30 years experience in the fields of philanthropy, non-profit management and higher education. She has worked with the YMCA, the Catholic Diocese of Lubbock, and has served as the Treasurer and Board Member for the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International Foundation for three years. She has also served as the Director of the Catholic Foundation for seven years.

She has worked at Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M University, University of Houston and Texas Tech University in the area of Student Services. Her education includes a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, a Doctorate in Education Administration with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Business, a Master’s of Science Degree in Counseling, Guidance and Student Personnel, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education in Language Art.

Dr. Claudia La Malfa

Joining us from Rome is Dr. Claudia La Malfa.  As a vital part of the staff team, she will be assisting Professor Francesco Buranelli with details in the coordination of artifacts from Rome and the Vatican.
