The Archdiocese of New Orleans will serve as the first host as announced today in a press release in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans will serve as the first site of the exhibition, "I Have Come To You Again"  Blessed Pope John  Paul II.   Dates will be February 4, 2013 through April 30, 2013.

“I Have Come To You Again” – Blessed Pope John Paul II

The Archdiocese of New Orleans will serve as the first host of the exhibition, "I Have Come To You Again" - Blessed Pope John Paul II.    This exhibition will take place at the Notre Dame Seminary from February 4, 2013 through April, 2013.  This one of a kind event will be made possible by The National Exhibits Association.

Blessed Pope John Paul II’s immense faith and great courage were inspirational and admired by both Christians and non-Christians alike around the world. 

This historical exhibit will feature the personal artifacts of His Holiness, Blessed Pope John Paul II. The venue will be divided into four sections:

  1. The childhood and adolescence of Karol Wojtyla (1920-1938);
  2. His years as a Laborer, Priest, Bishop, Archbishop and Cardinal in his native Poland (1939-1978);
  3. His years as the first Polish Pope of the Roman Catholic Church; and
  4. A reflection of the time from Death through His Beatification (2005-Present).

Items will come from the Vatican City State as well as from the John Paul II Center in Krakow, Poland. These artifacts will include personal belongings Blessed Pope John Paul II collected during his lifetime, and gifts, pictures and documents he received while he served as one of the most powerful world leaders.

Professor Francesco Buranelli, the Secretary of the Pontifical Commission of the Cultural Patrimony of the Catholic Church from the Vatican City State, will serve as the Curator and Historian. Rev. Malcolm Neyland, M.C.L., J.C.L., Executive Director of the National Exhibits Association will coordinate the venue.
